Exciting News from Our Recent 3D Printing Event at Palacký University!
On April 22, 2024, we gathered at the UPrint 3D facility within the Science and Technology Park of Palacký University in Olomouc to celebrate the impressive outcomes of our Erasmus+ 3D printing project. This special event showcased the talents of students and teachers from the Secondary School for the Hearing Impaired in Valašské Meziříčí, the Secondary Industrial School in Přerov, and the Higher Vocational School and Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering in Olomouc.
The day started with an inspiring tour of the UPrint 3D workplace, where participants explored advanced technologies for 3D printing using a variety of materials including metals, thermoplastics, photopolymers, and paper. This tour provided a real-world glimpse into the future of manufacturing and design.
Students then presented their 3D models, which were developed around the rich cultural (craft) heritage of the EU. These models are not just testaments to their creativity but also a bridge connecting traditional European craftsmanship with modern technology.
The event was an enriching experience for all, fostering an exchange of knowledge and celebrating the students’ hard work. The students were honored with certificates and gifts for their contributions to the 3D printing project.
