We are excited to share insights on an essential project we are a part of: DECRYPT – Digital and Scientific Literacy Upskilling for Adults. This Erasmus+ initiative is dedicated to enhancing digital and scientific literacy among adults, particularly those aged 35+ with basic or no scientific literacy. Our focus is on bridging the digital gap between generations and fostering informed, active, and involved citizenship through improved educational approaches in STEM and digital domains.
Through DECRYPT, we aim to collaborate on research and exchange experiences in digital and STEM education, create impactful training formats based on best practices, and engage educators in advancing their digital and scientific literacy. This project is not just about learning; it’s about creating a community where adults can thrive in the digital age, understand scientific concepts better, and navigate new media confidently.
