In our project AgroBUS, we aim to promote sustainable farming within cities. Land plots are utilized throughout European cities to create a commercial source of fresh vegetables and fruits.
One such example is in Vienna, Austria, where a local bar has transformed a previously empty land plot into a garden
Locals can now grow their own zucchinis, peppers, tomatoes, and carrots.
Participants not only enjoy a relaxing side activity but also benefit from free drinks at the bar! The business also shares the produce in collaboration with the locals.
This mutually beneficial arrangement is a small yet valuable outcome for both parties.
Of course, our project aspires to establish a comprehensive urban agriculture business, complete with a business plan and financial gains.
All these with , sustainability and eco-friendly entrepreneurship in mind !
